Privacy Policy

AllBoatsReady is a lineup and roster planning tool for dragon boat coaches. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and the control you have over it.

1. What we collect

Account details: when you create a coach account we store your email address and a securely hashed password (managed by our authentication provider). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email from Google.
Team and roster data: team names and descriptions, plus the paddler details you enter — names, gender, weight, preferred side, preferred zone, experience, attendance status, and any custom fields you add (for example jersey size or emergency contact).
Lineups, calendar events and race results you create, so they can be shown back to you and synced across your devices.
Feedback you send us through the in-app feedback form, along with your email, active team and basic browser information so we can diagnose issues.
Basic technical data: your browser stores your theme preference and guest-demo data locally on your own device (this never leaves your browser).

2. What we do NOT collect

We do not collect payment details, health data, location tracking, or advertising identifiers.
We do not run third-party advertising or cross-site trackers.
Guest demo mode stores sample and edited paddlers only in your browser's local storage — nothing is uploaded to our servers until you create an account.

3. How we use your data

To provide the service: showing your rosters, lineups, balance calculations, calendar and race results, and syncing them across your phone, tablet and laptop.
To secure your account: sign-in, password reset, and keeping each coach's data private from every other account.
To respond to you: answering feedback and support requests sent to coach@allboatsready.com.
To improve the product: fixing bugs and understanding which features coaches use, in aggregate — never by reading individual rosters.

4. Who can see your data

Your teams, rosters, lineups, events and results are visible only to your signed-in account. Row-level security rules in our database enforce this on every request.
We never sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
Our infrastructure providers (cloud hosting and authentication) process data only to operate the service, under their own strict security obligations.

5. Data storage and security

Data is stored on managed, encrypted cloud infrastructure. Connections to the app are encrypted in transit (HTTPS).
Each account's records are isolated by database-enforced access rules, so one coach can never read another coach's roster.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active.
You can delete individual paddlers, lineups, events and results at any time from within the app.
To delete your entire account and all associated data, email coach@allboatsready.com and we will remove it within 30 days.

7. Your rights

You can export your roster at any time using the built-in CSV/Excel export — your data is never locked in.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or erase your personal data. Contact coach@allboatsready.com to exercise any of these.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and note the date below. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
